Information we collect
When you request an appointment, we may collect your name, email address, mobile number, requested services and time, notes, and any inspiration photos you choose to upload. We also record whether and when you separately consent to receive appointment-related text messages. Basic technical information may be processed to secure the site and prevent spam or abuse.
How we use information
We use this information to review and manage appointment requests, provide salon services, communicate about your appointment, protect the website, and maintain appropriate business records. Inspiration photos are used to understand your requested service and are not published by the site.
Service providers and sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may use service providers that help operate the booking service, including Cloudflare for hosting, storage, security, and email; Google for calendar scheduling; and, if text messaging is enabled, Twilio for message delivery. These providers receive information only as needed to provide those services or comply with law.
Mobile information, text-message opt-in data, and consent will not be shared, sold, rented, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.
Text messaging
If you voluntarily opt in, emmadoesurhair may send transactional texts about your appointment request, confirmation, cancellation, or reminder. Message frequency varies based on appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel texts or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect appointment-related email or prevent you from booking.
Retention and security
We retain appointment information only as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information by emailing ej2148@gmail.com. Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal or legitimate business purposes.
Children and policy changes
This website is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service changes; the effective date above identifies the current version.
